HOW TO: THE TOUSLED LOOK

Hey everyone,
This is going to be a step by step tutorial with a few tips at the end on how to get a tousled look for your hair.

Loose tousled curls look absolutley gorgeous. So sexy, relaxed and classy. You can dress them up or down depending on what you wear and look amazing either way.

I have put together 3 looks and to do all of them all you need is;
* A curling iron
* Hairspray
* Bobby pins
* Sea Salt mist

To find out how to complete these looks...



1. CURLY, MESSY BUT DRESSY!To get tousled hair with results similar to Vanessa Hudgens above, take small sections of hair rather than large. Clamp the bottom hair of your section and curl inwards. Continue this action with small sections until there is nothing left to curl! Lightly run your fingers through the curls to break them up and add hairspray. Be sure not to play with them too much because this is a really curly lok and you will find your curls begin to fall flat if touched too often.

2. LONG LASTING, TIGHTLY COILED VARIATION!
To achieve the look seen by Ashlee Simpson above follow the same procedures as above but this time take a bobby pin and pin the curl to your head while the hair is still hot. Once your hair has cooled down you may remove the pins. Pins are used for a much more relaxed wave that lasts a longer duration of time. Perfect for a long night out.

3. TOUSLED BEACHY WAVES.

Firstly, start by spritzing some sea salt in your hair. Again, take smaller sections compared to large but this time instead of curling up...wrap your hair gently around the barrel. Hold is for only about 15 seconds and release. This will result in more of a wave and lesser than a curl. Repeat until all of your hair is completed then finsih with some hairspray.
