I'm back again with the highly anticipated second part of my new series, last time I showed you 5 Beauty Products Under $10 and this time I will be showing you 5 Beauty Products Under $5. As I said in my first part, this is something I
have been wanting to do for a really long time because makeup is so expensive
here in Australia that when you find a good beauty bargain it's something that
you definitely want to share! All of these products are available here in
Australian stores and their RRP is under $5 so there is a high chance that you
can buy these products even cheaper when on sale!
Essence Stay With Me Lipglosses ($3.95)
I recently found out that these are discontinued so I'm sorry for including them but alternatively, Essence has another range of lipglosses called XXXL Shine so look out for those instead as they are even cheaper at $2. If you can get your hands on these still as I know some Targets and Pricelines still stock them or have a bargain bin of them, they are an amazing smooth lipgloss with great pigmentation and I definitely recommend giving them a go.
Maybelline Baby Lips ($3.95)
I have included two types of the Maybelline Baby Lips because both are an amazing bargain; the normal lip balm version and then the Lip Glow version. The normal lip balm version is amazing for keeping your lips hydrated so perfect to chuck in your handbag and use throughout the day. The Lip Glows are slightly different because they have a chemical reaction with the natural pigmentation of your lips which leaves a pink or red tint.
Daiso Liquid Foundation ($2.80)
anything from Daiso is such a bargain but there's something about a foundation being so affordable that's just so appealing! It's actually great quality with surprising coverage and a nice colour. I definitely recommend checking this foundation out as something comparable to a BB Cream or tinted moisturiser. Have a look at all of the other cosmetics available there while you are at it.
Girlz Only Dry Shampoo ($1.99)
Dry shampoo is an absolute must for me as I dislike washing my hair everyday because I like to keep my hair healthy by keeping some of the natural oils in it. This means that dry shampoo definitely comes in handy and since I use it quite often I don't like spending a load of money on Batiste and other brands so to get a good bottle of dry shampoo for $2 is amazing!
So those were 5 beauty products under $5, definitely a challenge considering the price of cosmetics here in Australia and the fact that I limited myself to products only available in Australian stores under the RRP of $10 rather than products you can get on sale for that amount. I do have an even harder challenge coming up next which is 5 products under $5, yes you read correctly and it was just as hard as it sounds but keep an eye out for that one going up on Thursday.
