OCTOBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES ♥

The warmer weather is certainly here and I think that my favourites from this month definitely reflect that! From tanners to nude wedges and a whole lot of coral...here are the products I have been loving this month! 5 WAYS TO BRIGHTEN A WORK SPACE ☀

We spend so much time at our desks that it only makes sense to make it a pleasant and fun place that you actually enjoy being at. For me, having a work space that's organised, practical but also enjoyable is crucial to me actually being productive and getting stuff done! I have brainstormed five ways to brighten a work space and the best part is that all of these tips are easy and affordable. You will be amazing at how these little tweaks to a desk can make a huge impact.

$2.80 MAKEUP?! MY THOUGHTS ON DAISO PRODUCTS

Generally us Aussies are used to getting the shorter end of the stick when it comes to makeup prices in Australia so when I see a store pop up selling products for $2.80 it's hard to not be skeptical especially considering it's shockingly the cheapest foundation I have ever dreamed of. When you think about it, there's not much you can buy these days that is under $3 other than a bag of chips maybe so it's shocking how affordable these products are. I am extremely glad that I decided to pick up some products to try out because it turns out that they aren't as disappointing as you would expect and I was actually quite impressed with the quality of this makeup considering it's tiny price tag. So now let's get into what I thought of the five products I picked up!

SUPERWOMAN MAKEUP AND OUTFIT ★ HALLOWEEN TUTORIAL

Fight crime and be a bad-ass this Halloween by dressing up as Superwoman! This makeup tutorial consists of blue winged liner and comic book red lips. This is a really fun and playful costume idea with bold makeup that you can go all out with. Keep reading to see how I transformed myself into Superwoman...

SLEEPING BEAUTY MAKEUP ★ PRINCESS AURORA HALLOWEEN TUTORIAL

I was one of those little girls who grew up watching Disney movies and reading Disney books like Cinderella, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and The Beast and all those oldie but goodie classic movies. A particular story I loved (and still do love) is Sleeping Beauty; it brings up such great childhood memories and I adore the characters. This inspired me to crease a Princess Aurora Makeup tutorial, perfect for Halloween if you would like to go as a Disney princess. NAPOLEON PERDIS MAKE-UP KIT OVERVIEW

I'm here today to let you all know about an amazing gift with magazine promotion going on at the moment. PINK FAIRY MAKEUP ★ HALLOWEEN TUTORIAL

For my first Halloween tutorial of the year I have created a pink fairy makeup look complete with wings, a wand and flower crown. This tutorial consists of glittery pink eyes, fluttery wing lashes, a structured blush look, rhinestone details and finished off with a glossy light pink lip. REVIEW: VEGAN CUTS BEAUTY BOX

I received my very first Vegan Cuts Beauty Box last month and thought that I would share with you all what I got in it! So Vegan Cuts is another monthly subscription box where you recieve deluxe sized samples but the thing that makes it stand out from the rest is that it's unique in the way that all the products included are completely cruelty free and vegan. As a vegetarian and practically a vegan, I love supporting companies like this that spread the cruelty free message. So let's get onto what was included in the September box I recieved.

TOP 5 SKINCARE ESSENTIALS ♥

I have put together the top five products that I think are essential for everyone's skincare routine and wanted to share them with you! This is almost like a skincare recommendations as well because it's what I would say to my fourteen year old self with severe acne after having hindsight and figuring out what works best. I have also added a few additional recommendations at the end and overall have attempted to make this extremely beneficial and helpful so I hope you enjoy.

REVIEW: L'OREAL COLOR INFAILLIABLE SHADOWS

I recently picked up four shades of the L'Oreal Color Infailliable's from Target on clearance for $9 and wanted to share my thoughts on them with you. I have always been interested in trying them out because they look like a fantastic product and at that discounted price I couldn't resist. To me they seem like a hybrid between pigmented and pressed eyeshadow, containing interesting colour combinations and gorgeous practical packaging.

REVIEW AND SWATCHES: LIME CRIME "GERADIUM"

I knew heading into IMATS that I was not going to leave without a Lime Crime lipstick. With over five shades on my wishlist, I talked myself out of four (which as a lipstick addict, isn't an easy thing to do) and ended up deciding on "Geradium". From viewing online, this wasn't one I thought would steal my heart as it has but after seeing it in person it's the most perfect wearable coral colour that has a pinch of pink in it also. As someone obsessed with coral I can see this being my go-to Spring and Summer lipstick so expect to see me wearing this quite often. The main great benefit about Lime Crime lipsticks is that they are completely vegan so you can buy in good conscious that no animals were unnecessarily harmed for you to have this lipstick, something I wish a lot more brands got behind and supported.

I was so excited to receive the September Her Fashion Box after a Google beauty event in Sydney and wanted to share with you all what was in my box! If you're not sure how HFB works, it's a monthly subscription box for $39.95 and includes 2-3 on trend fashion accessories along with 3-4 leading beauty products based on which of the 3 variations you chose; classic, feminine or trendy. I believe that this is the classic box but even within that you will find variations from box to box between shades, types of metal and designs.
