Packaging
I haven't had the most positive encounters with Dior packaging since one of my Addict Ultra glosses have leaked before, destroying the whole top of the product. My fingers are crossed that I won't experience the same issue with these products. Despite this, the packaging is absolutely stunning not to mention practical since you can see what colour they are rather than relying on a label at the bottom of the product. The slanted doe foot applicator provides even distribution of the product without having to re-dip the wand.
Colour and Pigmentation
These two selections are the perfect shades for the Spring and Summer seasons. Mirage is a candy coral creamy colour and Mona Lisette is a juicy bright apple red. As mentioned at the beginning the pigmentation is amazing, especially for such a creamy product.
Consistency
These are some of the nicest wearing lip products I have ever tried, second only to YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks. They are extremely smooth and creamy on the lips making application an ease. They are also extremely lightweight so they aren't uncomfortable to wear.
Longevity
I was surprised at the longevity of this product since on the lips it simply feels like a thinly formulated and creamy gloss, which tend to ware quite quickly. Instead I was left with long-lasting lip colour when every time I checked didn't need reapplying.
Pricing and Availability
Since it's Dior there is no shock that this product will set you back about $50, a couple of dollars more than the rest of their lip gloss ranges. At first I was quite put off by the price but after giving it a go I would definitely say that it is worth the investment since a little goes a long way with this product and you get your moneys worth. This product can be purchased from any Dior counter such as those at Myer and David Jones.
Overall I think that the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks are an incredible product and the quality outweighs the price so I can't wait to add more colours to my collection.
Maybelline Color Elixirs were a similar product released in it's wake so you can check out a review of them here.
