I wanted to share with you all my outfit from one of the nights of Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane last week. I have been absolutely loving houndstooth lately so couldn't resist picking this gorgeous piece up for a bargain. It's not all as it appears with this outfit, read on to find why as well as information on where everything is from.
You may be tempted to ask "where is your dress from" but you would be mistaken as this is actually a playsuit...sneaky shape-shifting ensemble. I noticed a lot of my instagram comments complimenting my "dress" so I thought that I should definitely clear it up in a post. The front gives the appearance of a dress whilst from the back it looks like shorts.
The other shocking aspect of this dress is that I actually picked it up for under $50 from Valleygirl! I can never find anything worth buying in Valleygirl since the quality is generally quite low but I was surprised at the thick material and comfortable fit of this playsuit that I couldn't resist. I not only adore the print but also the gorgeous asymmetrical cut.
