When I opened up my invite to the Forever 21 media launch I was both shocked and incredibly excited. Until the invite I had no idea that a Forever 21 was even opening in Australia, let alone Brisbane. I get invited to my fair share of media events, even just those in the fashion realm, and this was one of the most exciting invitations I have ever received. It's about time we got one of the US's leading apparel stores.
So 8am sharp I passed the line of people leading all the way down the mall from Forever 21 and made my way into the newly opened Next hotel. We were then lead into Lennon's for a delicious breakfast of museli and pastries...those quiche slices you see in the right hand corner were absolutely divine.
After a speech from the Forever 21 international manager, we snuck around the back of shop and finally into the beautiful new Forever 21. The amount of USA hauls I have watched in my lifetime were enough for me to have major envy of anyone with this store in the close vicinity of them. The unbeatable prices, up-to-date styles and amazing quality makes for a fashion lovers heaven.
The gorgeous Lisa from The Bachelor and singer Alli Simpson attended for the ribbon cutting ceremony, marking the official opening of the first Forever 21 in Australia.
I immediately saw a few pieces that grabbed my eye and rushed to the change rooms with them, not being able to resist a sneaky selfie. To conclude, Australia's first Forever 21 is two levels of pure bliss and the answer to all fashion addicts prayers. Finally here is the affordable, fashion forward and great quality clothing store we've all been waiting for.
