As 2014 draws to a close, we bring in the new year but with glamour and style of course.
Here are some products I will be using to get party-ready for New Years celebrations tomorrow night.
Face - Estee Lauder Double Wear
You want to ensure that the base of your makeup actually makes it to 2015 so something long-wearing and full coverage is your best bet. In Estee Lauder I trust so without a doubt, I will be wearing Double Wear well into the new year.
Eyes- Shiseido Maquillage Palette
My favourite things to do with this palette are to create either a light gold or intense glittery bronze eye look, both amazing options for this new years. Shiseido, being a luxury brand, doesn't disappoint and the quality is definitely worth the investment.
Lips- Julie Hewitt Lipstick "Rouge Noir"
Nothing quite makes a statement the way a bold red lip does and this rich red lipstick encased in gold chrome packaging is my pick. The formulation of this one ensures it will stay in place all night but still has that moisturising consistency on the lips. There will be no lipstick smears or product sinking into the cracks of your lips.
Nails- Chanel "Peridot"
This polish was originally limited edition but due to popular demand it is now part of the permanent range. It's such an incredibly unique colour with a gold base but reflects of green, yellow and blue. The shimmer is so finely milled but on your nails it just looks like a cluster of glitters, making it very party appropriate.
Body- Flash Tattoos
This year we saw flash tattoos surface, adorned by fashionistas, celebrities and everyday girls. It's a fun and pretty way of accessorising your skin, as weird as that sounds. It's a temporary solution to fulfil any tattoo wishes you have and it looks super glam. The gold will especially pop against a tan on new years.
So those are my new years picks that will keep you party proof all night and well into the new year. I hope you all have a great night filled with champagne and good company. Just stay safe if you're headed out by ensuring you have a designated driver and watching your drink. That's it from mumma bear.
