Today I'm talking you through four of my all time favourite lip balms that I go to when my lips are feeling a bit parched. Being a beauty blogger, I have inevitably tried numerous lip balms so these are the very few that have become my absolute favourites and that I would repurchase in a heartbeat.
Lip balm has become the beginning and end of my everyday makeup routine where I apply it in the morning before anything else and at night after I take my makeup off. Although lip balm is particularly important in the Winter, it is definitely an essential year round.
A buttery lip balm that melts on the lips and offers a shiny, tinted
finish. The combination of shea butter and rice wax offers deep hydration and
softness, ideal for chapped lips. It nourishes and moisturises intensely, soaking into the lips rather than sitting on the surface. With a vanilla sugar scent and adorable pink/white packaging, this one is definitely a desk essential that sits next to my computer so that it's on hand.
This product doubles as a lip tint with it's colour changing abilities, personalised based on natural lip colour. This product looks different on everyone because it uses the pigmentation of your lips and changes to the perfect pink colour unique to you. This is great if you want to hydrate your lips as well as obtain a natural tint of colour.
The incredibly hyped EOS lip balms made their way into my collection this year and I think they are great and a handbag essential. Being able to directly apply the product to your lips using the sphere is extremely convenient and it's recognisable shape makes it easily found in your purse. The cute colours and scents give lots of options depending on your lip balm preferences.
Linden Leaves Lip Balm*
The last lip balm I have to talk to you about is by a brand I haven't featured on my blog before, Linden Leaves. When I first received this I didn't think much of it and figured it would be your usual squeeze tube lip balm. When I finally got around to giving it a go I instantly fell in love with it's super smooth consistency like coconut oil but without the oiliness. It's very moisturising and I would highly recommend looking into this one.
So those are my go-to lip balm choices for all year round and it goes without saying I would highly recommend picking up any of these if you're on the market for a new balm.
