Covergirl and Max Factor have recently released a few new products onto the market and since I'm always on the search for the latest and greatest in beauty, I thought I would try out some new things and let you know my thoughts.
I have had these products for a few weeks now and that has given me ample time to truly test them out and gather my opinion. We are going to be having a look at a new lipgloss range released by Covergirl and new products from Max Factor including eyeliners and a primer.
These two shades are complete polar opposites so you're definitely going to gravitate more towards one. I'm currently loving the deep burgundy colour because I can see it being perfect for once it cools down a bit, paired with some knits. 700 Whipped Berry is a candy coral pink, the perfect shade to put over the top of a nude lipstick to add a bit of colour. 720 Craving Cranberries is much more complex and is a mix of burgundy with a purple sparkle throughout. Max Factor Face Finity All Day Primer It's great to see that this product has an SPF of 20 because that is a great property to have in daily use face items to keep your skin protected from the sun. As far as it goes as a primer, I enjoy the long wear of this product and it's lightweight feel. I would recommend it as a great everyday product to put underneath your foundation. The consistency is surprisingly thick but leaves a smooth feeling on your skin, the perfect base for foundation to glide over. This product is $31.95 from Priceline here and other Max Factor stockists such as Kmart, Big W, Target and pharmacies.
Max Factor Excess Shimmer Gel Eyeliner
I absolutely love the concept behind this product because it adds a fun variation to your usual bland black gel eyeliner by having glitter mixed throughout. This is the perfect way of adding a different dimension to your weekend eye look and it's as easy as swapping your plain black gel eyeliner with this one. This colour is in 30 Onyx and is a deep black with a multicolour shimmer mixed within it.
My favourite products from these new releases are definitely the Max Factor Face Finity Primer and 700 Whipped Berry Colorlicious Lipgloss.
