Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula is based on the concept of using the cocoa properties to nourish, moisturise and heal the skin if you had scarring or stretchmarks. This makes it not just your average body moisturiser but a product much more amazing and that is why I jumped at the chance to try Palmer's on my face with their new range.
The collection includes a CC Cream in 2 shades, an exfoliating facial scrub, a moisturising day cream and moisturising facial cleansing wipes.
This product aims to prime skin and conceal imperfections with color correcting capabilities. With the inclusion of mineral pigments and aloe vera and the exclusion of parabens, phthalates and dyes, you know it's going to be a great product for your skin. This CC Cream is available inn two shades; light/fair and medium and I'm certain one of these colours or a combination of both would work for anyone. This product has a pink undertone but since the coverage is quite light; it will adapt to suit most skin tones. The formulation also contains pearl reflects for a silky finish and beautiful highlight to the skin. Yes and you can bet your bottom dollar that these smell like a choc vanilla candy bar.
Micro Dine Exfoliating Facial Scrub ($9.99)
I love a good scrub for exfoliating my face once a week and especially when they smell like a chocolate milkshake. This product, by far, has the most incredible scent that makes it almost good enough to eat. When you use this in the shower, you feel like you have jumped into a chocolate malt milkshake. But that's not even the best part, the micro fine exfoliating beads very gently remove dead skin cells so you jump out of the shower with a refreshed and regenerated face. The skin perfecting ingredients include; cocoa butter (of course), shea butter, evening primrose, cocoa powder and walnut shell (no wonder it smells delicious).
Skin Perfecting Moisturising Day Cream ($14.99)
Every girl needs a good daily moisturiser and this could definitely be it for a lot of you. It ticks all the boxes of an incredible everyday product such as; hydration, balancing properties and protection. It's a lightweight formula that leaves the skin smooth and glowing. It contains SPF 15+ for protection from the suns harmful rays and a key for future skin health. It makes the perfect base underneath foundation, priming the skin. And, you guessed it, smells like chocolate!
Moisturizing Facial Cleansing Wipes ($7.49)
I am always up for trying new and different makeup removing or cleansing wipes and I was excited to see that this range offered something a bit new. These are dual textured wipes that cleanse, lightly exfoliate and removes waterproof mascara. The best part about them, in my opinion, is that they leaves a beautiful residue on your skin and nourishes and moisturises. It's almost like makeup removing, cleansing and moisturising has been all rolled into one...perfect on those late nights when you just can't be bothered to wash your face (although I definitely don't recommend getting in the habit of using these instead).
This range is so reasonably priced, perfect for the student on a budget which I was when I first started using Palmer's. All of these product are $15 or in many cases under that and for such great sized items with amazing results, they are value for money. I would highly, highly recommend going into Priceline and taking a look at this amazing range from Palmer's because you will love anything you decide to try.
