Maybelline have had their biggest last few months of releases yet and after visiting the Maybelline offices in Melbourne last week I left with many of the new products to try.
I have been putting them to the test to find my favourites and these three products have stood out to me as ones I will use every day. There are two more products on the same playing field but there will be a post on them going up later this week so look out for that.
Maybelline FIT Me Matte + Poreless Foundation ($18.25)
The FIT Me range has had a facelift and that means all new packaging with clearer options to select from. As someone who is picky with their foundation, I was pleasantly surprised when I found this to be a great everyday option. Despite being formulated for normal to oily skin I find that it still works with my combination to dry complexion. It has a lightweight finish which means no cake face of heavy feeling on the skin while leaving your complexion smooth and mattified.
Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser
This thick and clear gel will be a new holy grail for those with large pores and for me I love the smoothing and blurring properties. This is the first drugstore product of it's kind that I have come across and is surprisingly at drugstore prices considering it has same results as the Benefit Porefessional. This smooth base provides an airbrushed finish that works through the way foundation applies and it's finish.
Color Sensational Rebel Bloom ($16.95)
We know how much I love my lip products and the Rebel Bloom collection, an extension of the Color Sensational range, is no exception. With ten beautiful shades available, there is a colour for everyone. The idea is taking pastel shades and making them bold and bright which is something I am all about. Since I struggle to pull off nude shades, these colourful pastels are the perfect middle ground. You will definitely be seeing a comprehensive review on my thoughts after I collect a few more shades from the range.
That's a quick introduction to three of the new Maybelline releases that have caught my eye and found their way into my makeup routine. I will definitely keep you posted on how I go using them long-term.
