Highlighter is one of my favourite makeup products, adding that shimmer onto your cheekbones to finish off a look is like the sprinkles on top of a cake. So needless to say, these blush and highlighter duos from Mary Kay have found a special place in my heart, also known as my everyday makeup drawer. Could these be a dupe for the Nars Dual-Intensity Blushes?
You really can't beat the combination of a smooth pigmented blush colour with a super shimmery highlighter that perfectly compliments the colour scheme of the duo. These matches made in heaven all differ from each other adding so much variety to your collection and there is definitely something for everyone with these.
Each of the blushes have buildable pigmentation so you can wear a subtle sheer layer or build up the product to be more opaque and bold. The highlight shades all achieve a breathtaking glow perfect for the cheekbones but each have a slightly different finish as they are all different colours to eachother.
First up we have Spiced Poppy which includes a burnt orange blush colour and shimmery champagne highlight. This colour combination looks absolutely stunning on pale skin tones, with the burnt orange showing up very true to colour on the skin. The blush shade is a satin finish while the highlighter is glitter packed.
Next up we have something for all the girly girls out there...Ripe Watermelon is a bubblegum pink blush paired with a super sparkly pale mauve highlight. The blush has a slight shimmer to it also which I think transitions the highlight seamlessly. This is a fantastic colour, particularly for tanned skin or darker skin tones where this bright pink will really pop without washing you out.
Juicy Guava is summer in a pan and can be pictured worn while sipping bellini's on a hot summertime night. The stunning coral hue is the perfect amount of shimmer to enhance a tan and is paired with a shimmering golden sand highlight.
There is no denying their resemblance to the Nars Dual Intensity blushes so these could be a great dupe. They give a similar result but are a much more affordable option.

These blushes retail for $24 each and for a two-in-one product I think this is fantastic value, especially considering how high quality each of the products are. You can read more about these products and purchase them online here.
