THE LOW DOWN ON THE LATEST LIQUID LINER RELEASES

I'm someone who can't go past a bold winged liner so liquid eyeliners are my jam and selecting the right one to use is a big deal.

I have my favourites and I'm hesitant to stray from them since after all "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but with so many new releases as of late, I haven't used my holy grail Master Precise in weeks.

I have fallen in love with some new liner products, even cheating on my holy grail Master Precise with another Maybelline eyeliner (better and more refined dare I say) and a handful more from both the drugstore and even high end.

Maybelline HyperSharp Liner ($15.95)
So as I mentioned, I have been ditching my Master Precise lately and opting for Maybelline's newest liquid eyeliner the HyperSharp. This product is like a new and improved version of the Master Precise but on a totally different level since it has a thin and thick side you can use to create the perfect wing. The thinnest side is ultra fine, allowing you to line even the inner portion of your eye. As you can tell from the swatches in the photo, this product has the thinnest line out of them all.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Liner ($12.95)
This texta like product has a felt tip which comes with good and bad. The good being a fast drying formulation that is thin on the eyes and feels lightweight. The bad being that it is quite a thick product best used for dramatic looks and can be slightly drying. It's not a personal favourite but it could definitely work for you if bold liner is your statement. You can purchase this product from Priceline.

Australis Liquid Liner ($10.95)
The Australis liner isn't a formulation I would typically gravitate towards but it has been a nice change of pace and interesting to play around with. It's a water and smudge resistant product so great for long-wearing makeup looks. You can purchase this product from Priceline.

Benefit Push Up Liner ($35)
I don't often give high end eyeliners the time of day since being so disappointed with my Chanel liquid liner but the Benefit ones have been fun to play around with, especially because they are so colourful. These have quite a dry and crumbly formulation but it's definitely not a bad thing since it makes the product so moveable and you can really play around with the shape. Read my full review here.

So my picks from these four new liners on the block are the Maybelline HyperSharp for girls who love a modern cat eye on the daily and the Benefit Push Up Liner for makeup addicts who love to play.
