You can't go past a classic red lip but you definitely don't need to break the bank to get your hands on the perfect product for the job.
I have scoured the drugstore lip product draws of my makeup collection and picked up my favourite red lippies that achieve a crisp and bold red lip, in style all year long.
Model Co Lip Lacquer in "Fire Red" is a bright candy apple red and smells unbelievably like strawberry lollies. You will find it hard resisting eating this stuff because it smells that good. Rimmel Oh My Gloss in "Rebel Red" is a deeper shade of red but more sheer and unfortunately smells like sunscreen. I couldn't help but include it in this post though because it is a great option for just $13.95 if you can put up with the smell.
The Lipsticks
BOE Professional Colour Last Lipstick in "Morocco" is the perfect everyday red with dusty rose undertones making it very wearable. NYX Round Lipstick in "Fire" is the polar opposite, a hot red with bright undertones for a bold statement. Maybelline Bold Matte Lipstick in "Mat 5" is a beautiful sultry, shine-free red for a long-lasting punch of colour.
