Happy Saturday everyone! I have been a busy bee this last week and I bit so I thought I would share with you what I have been up to and what has been going on.
In this post I'm going to be talking about going to YouTube workshops, theme parks, blogger luncheons, parties, finishing Uni and more. There is so much to cover to let's get into it, I can't wait to catch up with you all!
Starting with last weekend I had an adventure packed two days. I had an incredible day letting loose and thrill seeking at Movie World. I went on so many roller coasters and fun rides it was an awesome way to get my mind off work completely and have a fun day. I'm actually off to Sea World today so I'm a lucky duck with two theme parks in two weekends. Also last weekend I attended an awesome Day of The Dead themed party at Brisbane Showgrounds. I was invited along by Huddle Group to suss out the evening, enjoy some tequila based cocktails and Mexican food.
Yesterday I went to the YouTube event in Brisbane for an announcement and workshop. The announcement was that YouTube has now partnered with the Queensland government for a 3 year entrepreneur scheme giving QLD content creators access to funding, filming locations and partnerships. The workshop focused on techniques to improve your channel, discussing the new algorithm of the platform and technical details like the new app and way of analyzing demographics. An information filled afternoon followed by drinks and canapes for YouTube Happy Hour.
Earlier in the week I attended a really fun blogger luncheon held by the girls from MooGoo and DustyGirls. I enjoyed a delicious acai bowl from the dessert bar we were at with a soy cappuccino. I was all ears to hear about this interesting skincare brand and the awesome vegan makeup. More on this brand to come soon to the blog.
I have also been busy vlogging and put up a follow me around video from the day I attended the blogger luncheon so you can watch that below along with a haul of the goodie bag from the event. It also includes some more delicious food and a Sephora haul. I also filmed the YouTube event so that video should be up in the next couple of days.
To finish up this update something exciting is that I HAVE FINISHED UNI! Yay my third year is over and done with. I'm actually quite sad I only have one more year left since I love Uni so much. I might have to go straight back for my masters.
Other than all of the above I have been busy working away on Christmas content for the blog and a few other exciting passion projects.
