You want the year to go out with a bang - there might be parties and lots of photos being taken so an interesting or bold lip can really pull together a NYE look.
I have put together a random selection of five colours - each different totally different to each other. Instead of going for the typical nude or red these colourful and out there options might be a great way to finish your look.
MAC "Rebel"
Go down the vampy route this New Years with this deep berry for a bold dark lip. This particular vampy shade has a gorgeous purple undertone. Making it an eye catching and interesting choice. The satin finish leaves a really beautiful sheen on the lips. You can read a full review on MAC Rebel here.
Avon Ultra Color Matte "Matte Fuschia"
I love a good purple lipstick and this one is to die for! It is the perfect mix of a pink and a purple making it interesting yet wearable. It is completely matte but also has a beautiful creamy consistency to it -glides on like a dream and wears beautifully.
YSL Rouge Volupte "#13"
I adore this creamsicle glossy peach shade because it is a super pretty yet also wearable pastel option. If the event you are going to is quite casual or if you are spending it at home with some family then this is a great subtle lip colour option that looks gorgeous. MAC "Ruby Woo"
This classic dark cherry shade is the perfect red because it suits most skin tones and looks great on everyone I have seen it on. It's one of those bold and eye catching colours but completely fool proof since it has a tendency of looking amazing.
MAC "Girl About Town"
For those of you who enjoy a nice pink lipstick you will love this MAC shade. It is a beautiful deep toned pink with a creamy amplified formulation.
I adore all of these colours because of their quality, consistency, pigmentation and even packaging that makes them easy to use. So all of these are great options to purchase if you are wanting to treat yourself to a new lip colour to bring in the new year!
