The futuristic cross girly packaging is what first catches your eye to this brand but the quality of the products is what gets you hooked.
With that being said, there are hits and misses, as with most brands. I am going to be talking you through the five Girlactik Beauty products I own and giving my thoughts so that you can take them into consideration if you are wanting to give this brand a go.
"Milan" Blush ($19)
This cool toned rosy plum is the ultimate finishing touch on any Autumn/Winter makeup look and adds a unique finish to the face. This particular product is your traditional powder blush so it is perfect if you have oily skin or if you want a look to stay in place all day. Read more about this product here.
"Coral" Cream Blush ($19)
This creamy yet lightweight blush is amazing for creating a natural everyday flush. This particular shade provides a lovely coral finish on the skin and would be perfect for Spring and Summer looks. This would be an absolute makeup bag essential in warmer weather for quickly tying together a look. Read more about this product here.
The only downside of the blushes is that they are very tiny in size so they are a lot smaller in person than expected but realistically, how much blush can you really get through? It adds character and makes them perfect for travelling.
Cabo Matte Bronzer ($26)
This beautiful bronzer is the perfect neutral shade, not too warm or cool toned. It is a matte formulation with a velvet finish, making it wearable easy to blend. It's a very buildable colour so can be worn for a subtle glow applied with a big fluffy brush or also used with a smaller brush for contouring and shading the face. Read more about this product here.
Bronze Face Glow ($25) Think of this product as the Mineralized Skin Finish of Girlactik Beauty, a hybrid between a velvety luminious face powder and a golden highlight. The intense warm glitter throughout the tan product attracts attention wherever applied on the face. Perfect for highlighting your cheek bones if pale or overall highlighting when glowy and tanned. Pink Diamond Face Glimmer ($20)
It is a similar product to Benefit High Beam where it has a pink pearlescent finish but it is slightly less pigmented. The packaging could do with some revamping but it's practical application of a doe foot applicator is perfect for applying the product quickly and precisely. Read more about this product here.
I would highly recommend checking this brand out and having a browse at all of the products they have on offer. Despite being slightly pricey, the quality is phenomenal and definitely surprising for a lesser raved about company.
