I am all about trying new brands, especially when they have as fun packaging as Poni Cosmetics do! When I saw the holographic and hot pink box I instantly fell in love and knew I had to share this company with you all.
I am going to be talking you through some of the new products that I have been trialing from Poni Cosmetics and my initial thoughts. We have a great mix of makeup here but primarily brow products! It comes at such a great time since I just used up the last of my MAC Brow Pencil and am on the search for something else to fill my brows in. I was spoilt for choice with this package so I am sure I am bound to find something I love for my brows in here.
First up we have the Poni Cosmetics Brows 'Poni Wax' which is a waxy cram formulation you can use to fill in your brows. It works either on it's own or underneath a powder.
Next up is the Poni Cosmetics 'Brow Powder' and this one is in the shade '#2 Palomino' which is lighter than the wax. I like the combination of the dark wax and the light powder because it gives you the flexibility to blend together to make your perfect colour.
Also included is a highlighting stick to use on your brow bone and really make your brows pop. To help with the application and blending there is a double ended brush. On one side is a slanted eyebrow brush and on the other side is a spoolie.
Next up we have two brow products in stick form. Firstly we have 'Brow Pop' which is a 3-in-1 brow highlighter. After finishing your brows with your favourite brow product, depending on what level of 'Brow Pop' you want to achieve, apply either the light or dark shade. The lighter shade is 'Practically Popcorn' and the darker shade is 'No Pics Please'. You can also mix the two together if it creates more of the colour you are looking for.
The second product is the Brow Magic Brow Pencil which is your typical wind up brow product to fill in your brows with. I definitely think that this will be a fantastic product to replace my MAC Eyebrow Pencil which was quite similar.
Lastly we have the Poni Cosmetics Contouring Kit which is filled with four stunning products. Highlight That Poni is a gorgeous yellow toned highlighter, perfect for dusting on the cheekbones. Contour That Poni is a warm toned brown for bronzing and contouring with. Pretty Pink Poni is a pink based blush shade that provides a gorgeous dusty pink hue to the cheeks. Playful Peach Poni is a playful coral hue for a light and fresh finish.
Also included is the Poni Cosmetics brush in #18 which is a flat topped, straight haired brush. It has short bristles and is reasonably dense to pick up product. This could be fantastic for highlighting or contouring.
So that's an overview of the Poni Cosmetics products that I have added to the collection. These beautifully packaged products are fun and add a bit of sparkle and shimmer to my everyday makeup bag.
