How to Get More Traffic to Your Blog [Blogger Broadcast]

You have most likely put a lot of time and effort into crafting your blog posts, so it goes without saying that the more eyes on your blog, the better. 

You want as many people as possible to enjoy the content you have created, which is why I have put together my tips for increasing page-views based on personal experience. 

1. Topical Posts 
If you see a trend or popular topic floating around and catching peoples’ interest, then write about it, you will enjoy doing so. It’s a win-win situation because you are able to contribute your opinion on the trend and enjoy writing a fun feature. You will bring a new and different perspective to your existing readers while attracting new clicks to the post.

2. Hyperlink 
To get readers to view multiple posts, you can include links to previous blog posts in newly published posts. When I am talking about a product that I have previously reviewed, I like to link to this or make a statement that directs the readers to the previous review, in case they might like to read more about that particular product. If this is the first time you are hearing about the term ‘hyperlink' then allow me to explain. It is basically leveraging the influx of readers visiting your post, which is inevitable with fresh content, and directing them to previous related articles on your blog to increase the amount of time they spend on your platform.

3. Sidebar Advertising 
Brands want to be featured on your sidebar and for good reason – it is valuable advertising space! Use your sidebar to promote previous posts that readers may be enticed by and may click on once they have finished reading the current article. You can pick some of your features that have interesting images and pair the link with the photo to attract more clicks.

4. Guest Posting 
Collaborating with fellow bloggers and creating content for their platform can spark interest from their audience to check out your blog. It’s all about attracting your target audience – people you think you will enjoy your content through calculated strategies such as this.
